Our Team

The people who maintain the platform and keep the booking process running smoothly

The People Behind the Service

Running a booking platform requires coordination across several areas: supplier relations, customer support, technical maintenance and content. Each role has a defined scope of responsibility, and the structure is deliberately lean. There are no invented titles, no marketing fluff and no stock photography of people who do not work here.

The platform connects travellers with local suppliers on the island. The team does not own vehicles, does not operate desks and does not employ drivers. What the team does is vet suppliers, maintain the booking system, answer enquiries and produce the information published on the site. The work is operational, not promotional.

Supplier Relations

The supplier relations role involves identifying and evaluating local operators, negotiating terms, maintaining contracts and monitoring performance. The person in this role travels to the island regularly to inspect vehicles, visit pick-up points and meet supplier staff. They also handle disputes when a booking does not proceed as expected, working with both the traveller and the supplier to reach a resolution.

Supplier vetting is not a one-time event. Operators are reviewed periodically, and poor performers are removed from the platform. The criteria are straightforward: vehicle condition, transparency of terms, responsiveness to problems and adherence to the agreed pricing structure. If a supplier fails on any of these points repeatedly, the relationship ends.

This role also maintains the inventory feed, ensuring that availability, pricing and vehicle specifications are accurate in the booking system. When a supplier changes their fleet or adjusts their deposit policy, the update must be reflected on the platform within hours, not days.

Customer Support

Customer support handles enquiries before, during and after the booking. The majority of questions concern deposit requirements, insurance coverage, pick-up logistics and what happens if plans change. The support role does not involve selling; it involves answering questions clearly and routing issues to the appropriate party.

Enquiries arrive by email and through the contact form. Response time during working hours is typically under two hours. Outside working hours, enquiries are answered the following morning. There is no call centre, no live chat and no promise of round-the-clock availability. The support structure is designed for clarity, not speed.

When a problem arises on the island, the support role coordinates between the traveller and the supplier. If a vehicle is not ready at the agreed time, if a deposit is held incorrectly or if damage is disputed, the support person contacts the supplier directly and works through the issue. The goal is resolution, not blame assignment.

Technical Operations and Content

The technical operations role maintains the booking system, manages the server infrastructure and ensures that the payment gateway functions correctly. This includes monitoring uptime, applying security updates and troubleshooting any technical failures that affect the booking process. The platform is built on open-source components, and the technical lead is responsible for keeping those components current.

Content production is handled by a separate role. Every page on the site is written to answer a specific question or address a specific need. The content role researches the island, verifies information about roads and locations, and produces the text published here. There are no outsourced articles, no AI-generated filler and no content written by people who have never been to the island.

The content role also maintains the frequently asked questions section, updates the reviews page when new feedback arrives and writes the explanatory material found in the payment methods and about sections. The writing is plain, the structure is deliberate and the information is kept current.

Between these roles, the platform functions. There is no hierarchy chart, no organisational diagram and no mission statement. The work is defined by what needs to be done, and the team is sized to do it.
